CD Review: Waitin in Line May, 2007 Reviewed By Ms. Rebyll- for Southbound Beat Magazine
Starting with humble surroundings, these down to earth good ole boys from Kansas ........ Their CD titled “Waitin’ In Line” has 11 songs on the album and every one of them is soaked with that southern rock classic sound. Their lyrics have obviously been from growing up in a small American town. Where the pace of life is slow and the music is fast and furious. If I ever get to South East Kansas I will be sure to catch one of their shows. I really enjoyed this album and would definitely buy their second album titled “Pure Chance”

I enjoyed the CD, I liked the beat I think my generation would also like the beat and the sound. I really liked the words to many of the songs and they appeared to me to be sung with feeling and true spirit of music.

Music fit era of Vietnam War Monday, June 7, 2004 By BOB JOHNSON Iola Register City Editor
Second Chance, a band from Chanute, entertained at the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall Sunday... The band's music, drawn from the late 1960s and early 70s... It was representative of what young people during the Vietnam War era listened to and from that perspective was authentic to the occasion........... Soldiers in Vietnam, including many of them... Were in their late teens or early 20s when they went to fight in Southeast Asia in the 1960s and early 70s.

Liking the groove, it's so 70s/90s, Deep Purple meets S.T.P. .... definitely solid musicians, it comes through big time. Vocals are strongly performed...

Sabbath Lives! It sounds very influenced by Black Sabbath... Lynyrd Skynyrd meets the devil... original. You could shave off about 30 plus seconds. Again, a solid effort...
Song Review: Wicked March 25th, 2006 By- Rhoads-fan_ Brownstown, Indiana
Love the 80s feel... reminds me a little to much of Motley Crue the vocalist sound like Jim Morrison...
